Welcome to Holy Mackerel Studios

Central PA's premier borosilicate glass art studio!

All available items are handmade in central Pennsylvania by Victor 'Buko' Vogt, unless otherwise noted.   This includes all faceting, sandblasting, wire wrapping, etc being done in-house.  All items made by other artists are noted - HMS believes in supporting American glassblowers.  Each piece is a unique creation and slight variances in color, size, shape, etc. may occur.  All of my pieces come signed and dated.

Everything available is properly annealed in a kiln before it is considered finished.  Kiln annealing creates a stronger and more durable piece by heating it to an even temperature throughout and then cooling at an even and consistent rate.  This process greatly reduces any stress in the material and stress is the cause of most cracks and breaks in glass.  To learn more about glassblowing and the kind of glass I use, I encourage you to visit the About Us page and FAQ section listed on the Service page.
